CHARDONNAY——This elegant Chardonnay shines with a subdued brilliance, offering ethereal aromatics with lots of minerality. Aromas of pear, lemon peel, and white flowers are accompanied by honeycomb notes. With citrus and stone fruit on the palate, the wine has great acidity, balance, and depth, with a zesty minerality that recalls the limestone vineyards of Burgundy
RION ——Superb blend of 2 Bordeaux varietals – Merlot from dry farmed Zaynte Vineyards in Santa Cruz Mountains and silky Cabernet Sauvignon from Bates Ranch, showcasing the finest coastal vineyards fruit. Luxurious milky dark chocolate, soy sauce, teriyaki, black cherry, vanilla, black walnut, roasted and fresh hazelnut. The wine is dense, creamy, very extracted and soft with an amazingly long finish. Prevalent tannins from French oak still firm and complex. This wine benefits from cellaring for over 10 years but worthy to enjoy now.
DESSERT WINE —- The 2019 Cabernet “Port” is a rich and complex wine supported by velvety and soft tannin having a perfect balance between sweetness, alcohol, and acidity. Drinking on release but will offer more rewards by aerating the wine in a decanter for six hours before serving. Simply put, just a classic Port style dessert wine that will get better every year. A favorite to our winemaker Sofia who spent lots of time crafting this first release.
